Do you struggle with serious doubts about your ability to blog on a regular basis. I do. But I’ve decided to dive in once again.
So, I wanted to ask for your advice. How do you set up deadlines for yourself; then, follow through faithfully on you blog post schedule?
My friend, Mary Larmoyeux, posts on her grandparent blog every Tuesday and Fridays. I’m impressed with Mary’s organizational skills. I wish she would come over to my house and help me get my office in order.
Another friends calls herself an “occasional blogger.” Maybe that’s what I am. But I’m hesitant to label myself’; I’m not sure that I’d ever change my habits. It’ll might give me an excuse to become even more disorderly in my blogging conduct.
I also know that I need to be reading and commenting on other blogs more often. I’m amazed at all of the helpful resources that I’m discovering out there about social media, especially blogging. I always learn something new in this ever-changing tech world.
Helpful resource. Check out this great post by author and blogger Michael Hyatt as he shares his advice about three common blogging mistakes.
What mistakes have you made blogging? How did you correct them?
Thanks for your comment, Anita! I continue to learn a lot about life, faith, and writing during the blogging process. But I know one thing for sure–I can’t copy someone else’s methods! That makes me tired just thinking about it! Keep blogging!
Your confessions are something I too struggle with at times. As authors, we are also required to speak, stay on top of social media, write articles, and blog. Where do we fit it all in?
But instead of beating ourselves up, it’s good to vent, then go on with what we need to do. Having someone else who “gets it” sure helps when the guilt threatens to overwhelm.
